APK/IPA Installation

This section provides an explanation on how to install the BSA APK file through the sandbox portal. On the Sandbox page, you will find an Android and iOS App Store button; click on it. Once the BSA installation file is successfully downloaded, you can run it on your mobile device.

Important

Important: Please enable “Unknown Sources” in the Android settings to allow the installation of the BSA APK.

To install the BSA APK using your own mobile device, follow these steps:

  1. Enable Unknown Sources: Before you can install an APK from outside the official app store, you need to enable Unknown Sources in your device settings. This option allows you to install apps from sources other than the Play Store. To enable it, go to Settings > Security (or Biometrics and security on some devices), then toggle on the Unknown Sources option.

  2. Download the APK: Using your device's web browser or a file manager app, download the APK file from the Sandbox.

  3. Locate the APK File: After the download is complete, open your device's file manager and navigate to the folder where the APK file is saved. It's often located in the Downloads folder, but you may have chosen a different location during the download.

  4. Install the APK: Tap on the APK file to start the installation process. A prompt will appear, asking if you want to install the app. Tap Install to proceed.

  5. App Permissions: The installation may require you to grant certain permissions to the app. Review the permissions, and if you are comfortable with them, tap Install again.

  6. Wait for Installation: The app will now be installed on your device. The time taken for installation depends on the app's size and complexity.

  7. Open the App: After the installation is complete, you will see an App Installed message. Tap Open to launch the app, or you can find the app icon in your app drawer or home screen to start using it.

Important

Important: Additionally, it's a good practice to disable the Unknown Sources option after installing the APK to prevent accidental installations of potentially harmful apps from unknown sources.

To uninstall an app from your mobile device, follow these general steps: For Android Devices:

  1. Open Settings: Go to your device's Settings app.
  2. Apps & Notifications (or Apps/Applications): Look for the option that might be named Apps, Apps & Notifications, or Applications depending on your device and Android version.
  3. Select the App: In the list of installed apps, find the app you want to uninstall and tap on it. This will open the app's details page.
  4. Uninstall the App: On the app's details page, you should see the Uninstall button. Tap on it, and a confirmation prompt will appear.
  5. Confirm Uninstallation: Tap OK or Uninstall on the confirmation prompt to proceed with the uninstallation.
  6. App Uninstallation: The app will be uninstalled from your device, and you will see a message confirming the removal.

For iOS Devices (iPhone/iPad):

  1. On the Home Screen: Locate the app you want to uninstall on your device's home screen.
  2. Long-Press the App Icon: Press and hold the app icon until all the app icons on the screen start jiggling. This indicates that you're in wiggle mode, which allows you to rearrange or delete apps.
  3. Uninstall the App: Look for a small x icon (usually in the top-left corner of the app icon). Tap on the x, and a confirmation prompt will appear.
  4. Confirm Uninstallation: Tap Delete on the confirmation prompt to confirm the uninstallation.
  5. App Uninstallation: The app will be uninstalled from your device, and the remaining icons will stop jiggling, indicating you have exited wiggle mode.

Important

Please note that the steps for uninstallation may vary slightly depending on the device's make, model, and operating system version. If you can't find the uninstallation option in the app settings or on the home screen, you can search online for specific instructions for your device model and OS version.
